The Illinois Chapter has purchased a webinar subscription to offer archived versions of USGBC's live webinars in group settings in order to offer LEED Specific credential maintenance opportunities to our members. Each month you will have the opportunity to earn 1.5 GBCI hours at one of our group webinar viewings.

Session Description:
Where communities are built, how communities are designed, and how they ultimately perform has a tremendous impact upon the environment and nearby residents of a neighborhood. Smart Growth and New Urbanism are two leading strategies for sustainable design that complement green design in the new LEED for Neighborhood Development certification system. Learn more about these two planning philosophies and how they can be implemented on the project level.

This session is approved for 1.5 hours of LEED Specific (ND) GBCI hours as well as 1.5 AIA/CES LU/HSW/SD hours.
